The Essay
(Introductory paragraph)
——SNC is the need of the hour. At present, three types of curricula are being taught across the country. Private schools follow a curriculum that aims to impart the latest knowledge and the medium of instruction is English, while public schools follow a curriculum that is not abreast of the contemporary demands. In addition to this, the medium of instruction in public schools is either the regional language or the national language. Along with private and public schools, Deni Madaris are also educating a huge number of students. It is appreciable that these Madaris impart religious education and serve Islam, but the students from these Madaris know nothing or least about contemporary matters, especially they are not skilled to earn their livelihood and contribute to the national income. This variety of curricula being taught in class-based schools and Madaris has divided the society socially, and economically; and has germinated intolerance to overcome which Single National Curriculum is a constructive step. Although constitutional restraint and reservations of different sections of society are present in the way of its implementation, appropriate measures will ensure its success and the prosperity of the nation.

(Conclusory Paragraph)
——The nation is suffering social, economic, and political turmoils. Disharmony, intolerance, and terrorism are hampering the progress of the nation. The major cause behind all these factors is the variety of curricula that are not producing skilled and well-aware members of society. As a result, the country and the people are facing social and economic problems along with low progress of the individuals and the nation. In these circumstances, SNS is the appropriate step that ensures the solution to the above-mentioned problems. But, the implementation of SNC is facing reservations from minorities and Ulemas. Constitutional challenges and economic challenges as well as lack of teaching skills are the hurdles in the way of its implementation. For this all stakes holders need to be taken on board; and, when done so, SNC will bear its fruit in the form of national progress and prosperity.
